Dyke Marsh is just south of Alexandria, VA and it is a haven for wild life and nature lovers. Mere miles from Washington, D.C., our nation's capital, lies this gem of natural, meandering creeks. It is a great place to go and escape the city for a while...and to collect trash. Sadly, this natural beauty is full of trash like everywhere else along the Potomac. So, I find myself frequenting the area when the tides are right.  It didn't take long before the Friends of Dyke Marsh organization took notice and wrote up this nice feature for their Spring 2022 newsletter.
