(Not a) Blog

Ok, first and foremost, I'm not a writer by any stretch of my imagination. Therefore, I have no business being a blogger or even trying to be one. Soooo, that means this must not be a blog. (Of course, no offense to bloggers and their blogs, it's just not for me). Secondly, I really don't enjoy writing as much as I enjoy pulling trash out of our waterways. I feel that my skill set is put to better use on the water. Yes, that means I prefer picking up trash in the heat of summer or dead of winter rather than sitting here in front of a computer in the cool A/C or warm heat, respectively. Finally, sure, I could take the time to become a better writer...but I just plain don’t want to because of how much fun I have on the water.

With all of that in mind, this section is more about why I started SUP Garbage Man. It will also include some “How to” or “DIY” litter picking stories based on my experiences as well as some post-collection re-purposing wins!

How on earth did I start pulling massive amounts of trash out of our waterways? Hint: We only have one earth.

Not all trash is created equal. Here is a collection of stories about items I've found in the river and then repurposed.
